I had the misfortune of hiring an accountant who turned out to be one of the most unprofessional and unreliable professionals I have ever encountered. From start to finish, the experience was a complete nightmare, and I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this individual.First and foremost, communication with this accountant was practically nonexistent. I repeatedly attempted to contact them via phone and email, but they never bothered to respond. It's incredibly frustrating to hire someone for a service and not be able to reach them when you have important questions or concerns. Their lack of responsiveness demonstrated a total disregard for their clients and their responsibilities as an accountant.To make matters worse, when the accountant did manage to be reached, they consistently failed to deliver the work promised. Deadlines were repeatedly missed; NO work was ever delivered over the course of a calendar year. It was clear that they had not put in the necessary effort or attention to detail required for their profession.Furthermore, the quality of the work was subpar at best. It seemed as though the accountant lacked the knowledge and expertise needed to handle even basic accounting tasks. questions were never accurately answered, and crucial financial information was overlooked. This level of incompetence is completely unacceptable, especially when dealing with sensitive financial matters.What adds insult to injury is that this accountant still had the audacity to charge exorbitant fees for their substandard services. It was a complete waste of money and time, and I deeply regret ever hiring them in the first place. It's clear that they prioritize their own financial gain over providing competent and reliable accounting services.In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with this accountant. Their lack of accessibility, poor communication, and incompetence make them wholly unsuitable for anyone seeking a professional and reliable accounting service. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for an accountant who will actually fulfill their responsibilities and provide the level of service you deserve.If you have any desire to hire someone who can be relied on, avoid Michael Caticchio at all costs; however if you enjoy having your time wasted, money stolen and being constantly lied to and ignored, this is the accountant for you.

Si vous êtes un nouveau professionnel et que vous désirez gâcher votre début de pratique, je vous conseille de choisir Mr Brochu. Autrement je vais tenter de faire court :- Approche sympathique et prise en charge initiale en apparence complète ; par contre il omettra de mettre l'accent sur des détails vitaux et se contentera de vous envoyer les documents pertinents par courriel, sans faire de session d'enseignement. Vous vous sentirez en confiance, car il se montrera rassurant, mais c'est la pire erreur à faire!- Après avoir complété les états financiers de ma première année, j'ai tout simplement été abandonné. Aucun suivi n'est prévu, il y a un sentiment de confusion totale et un manque complet de communication, ce qui m'amène au point suivant :- Je n'ai eu aucune réponse à mes tentatives de communication, et ce, en passant par 3 modes de communication différentes, durant environ 3 mois (pas de réponse à mes courriels, pas de réponse à sa ligne téléphonique personnelle plus souvent qu'autrement, et pas de retour de Mr Brochu plusieurs jours après que sa secrétaire m'assure qu'elle l'avise à l'instant de me rappeler - et ce, à 2 reprises!)- Une incompréhension majeure par rapport aux versements d'impôts corporatifs (dont une erreur de Mr Brochu que d'autres comptables ont qualifié d'élémentaire) m'a coûté plus de 2000$ de frais de pénalité à Revenu Québec et Revenu Canada jusqu'à maintenant.- Lorsque finalement rejoint par rapport au point ci-haut en août 2021, Mr Brochu m'assure qu'il fera le nécessaire et me promet de faire un suivi avec moi et de me mettre en CC de ses démarches : 2 semaines plus tard (début septembre), rien n'est fait et je dois demander moi-même un suivi. Encore une fois, il balaie rapidement mon inquiétude et m'assure que les démarches seront faites- À ce jour, le 18 octobre, je n'ai toujours reçu aucune communication de Mr Brochu pour un quelconque suivi, ce qui m'a laissé le temps de changer de comptable (dieu merci!). Ceux-ci ont constaté rapidement la méthode plus qu'archaïque de Mr Brochu et ont mis en lumière son grave manque de professionnalisme et d'organisation.- Si vous faites partie des chanceux qui recevez un bon service de Mr Brochu, félicitations. Sinon, prenez garde, vous méritez mieux, surtout pour le prix qu'il demande! Bonne chance!
